About the Job

East Kootenay Regional Hospital is a 75 bed acute care hospital with a medium size Laboratory offering Core Lab, Microbiology, Histology, Pathology, collections and accession services. It is considered a regional referral site for selected testing and there are 30 Medical Laboratory Technologists, and 25 Medical Laboratory Assistants employed in various disciplines.


This is a Permanent Full Time (1.0) opportunity.


Shifts of work will be scheduled Monday to Friday day shifts with weekends and stats off.

Qualifications

Grade 12, successful completion of a recognized Laboratory Assistant training program, plus three year's recent, related experience, including one year in a supervisory capacity or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience

Valid Class 5 Driver’s License as required by position
