ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

NSW Health Pathology is currently seeking two dedicated individuals to join the team at Westmead Hospital as Medical Laboratory Assistants in Pathology Collections. These roles offer a valuable opportunity to contribute to high-quality patient care by supporting the collection and preparation of pathology specimens. A variety of positions are available, including permanent part-time, temporary part-time, and casual roles, providing flexibility for the right candidates.
In this dynamic and patient-focused role, you will perform venepuncture, engage directly with patients and clinical staff, and play a key part in ensuring the efficient operation of the pathology service. It’s an excellent chance to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced hospital setting, all while making a meaningful impact on patient outcomes.
