NSW Health Pathology is seeking a motivated and reliable Medical Laboratory Assistant to join our Pre-Analytical team at Orange Health Service. This is an exciting chance to contribute to the delivery of high-quality pathology services that support patient care and health outcomes across the community.

In this role you will support the delivery of quality pathology services through specimen reception and processing, blood collection, patient registration, and laboratory support activities while providing exceptional patient care and working collaboratively with healthcare professionals and laboratory teams.

What you'll be doing

n

Contribute to a high-quality pathology service. Perform a range of pre analytical duties including pathology collections, receiving and triaging of specimens, patient registration and request entry, specimen processing and preparation for transport or delivery to laboratories for timely accurate diagnostic testing.
