Description

We are seeking Medical Laboratory Technician to join Q2 Solutions, IQVIA’s laboratory business at Valencia, CA.

This role provides intermediate technical expertise to develop, maintain, and test Laboratory Data Management systems and data extraction tools to support clinical trial workflows and ensure data accuracy for internal and external clients.

Responsibilities

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

  • Test clinical study databases in alignment with programming standards and validation procedures
  • Contribute solutions and insights independently to development and validation project teams
  • Coordinate testing plans and execute test cases for laboratory data systems and extractions
  • Review specifications for testability and confirm traceability to defined requirements
  • Support IT teams in evaluating and implementing new technologies as needed
  • Maintain reusable libraries of test data sets and ensure integrity throughout test cycles
  • Collaborate across project teams to organize timelines, responsibilities, and deliverables
  • Uphold compliance with SOPs, regulatory guidelines, and Good Clinical Practice standards

THE KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES NEEDED FOR THIS ROLE:

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, frequent standing and walking, occasional sitting, close eye work requirement (computer, typing, reading small prints). Physical demands vary depending on assigned work area and work tasks. Occasional exposure to cold temperatures.
  • Strong project and task management capabilities to meet deadlines and deliverables
  • Proficiency in laboratory terminology and regulatory standards including FDA, GLP, ICH, ISO HL7
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills with a customer-focused mindset
