EXPERIENCE

Candidates should possess:

• A degree or certification in Medical Laboratory Technology or a related field.
• Experience in a clinical or research laboratory setting is preferred.
• Knowledge of anatomy and physiology relevant to laboratory testing.
• Familiarity with data management systems used for tracking laboratory results.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

• Perform laboratory tests and assays on biological specimens, including blood, urine, and tissue samples.
• Conduct blood banking procedures and ensure proper handling and storage of blood products.
• Phlebotomize patients to collect blood samples while adhering to aseptic techniques.
• Monitor and record vital signs as part of patient assessments.
• Maintain accurate data management for laboratory results and patient records.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to support clinical trials and research laboratory initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality control standards within the laboratory environment.
• Assist in the training of new staff members on laboratory protocols and procedures.
