Job Description: Main activities: - Development and implementation of medical strategy for oncology in the Nordics, for current and future indications - Ensure full incorporation of medical plans in Country Based Operational Plans through best in class cross-functional collaboration - Build network with medical experts - Lead the oncology medical team with a focus on continuous development and high performance. Main responsibilities: - Responsible for line management and development of Medical Advisor(s) and MSL(s) on the team including employee and talent development - Continuous development of the team's qualifications and skills in our indications, providing strong medical scientific leadership in the company and corresponding transfer of this expertise - Work closely with the Medical Director and Business Unit Head with the goal of contributing significantly to the strategic and operational medical advancement of the company - Strategic management of development activities in the responsible medical/scientific area in close cooperation with local (brand team) and global internal partners with the aim of creating operational and strategic plans - Responsible for the successful implementation and adequate communication of all planned medical projects and studies in close cooperation with the Clinical Operations Team, the global Medical Team and other relevant stakeholders - Establish/expand and maintain Thought Leader network incl. engagement in professional societies, health policy organizations, etc. to build and maintain a medical-scientific partnership at eye level to help shape the health policy environment and take responsibility for the science-based representation of the company to the outside world - Ensuring functioning and well-founded medical information (pro- and re-active, including release of promotional materials) and medical education management in the responsible indication area - Ensuring functioning and well-founded medical review of promotional and non-promotional materials - Act as a role model in working according to the highest ethical standards as determined by local, global and Ipsen regulations Knowledge & Experience - A minimum of 5 years in a medical affairs role at a pharmaceutical company - Advance Scientific Degree preferred (MD, Ph.D) - 5 year of leadership experience - Fluency in Swedish and English #LI-LN1 We are committed to creating a workplace where everyone feels heard, valued, and supported; where we embrace “The Real Us”.
