Responsibilities

Documents coordinators are responsible for ensuring all medical documentation on a case is processed accurately and efficiently. Medical documentation comes in from clients in all different states. The document coordinator takes the raw files and parses it - merges files, orders the contents, removes duplicates, runs character recognition to make the document searchable, creates a table of contents, and then uploads the final document into our case management system.

In addition to documents handling, there are a number of administrative tasks documents coordinators perform. These tasks will prepare you for a future role in our intake/booking department:

  • Prepare assessor referral letters and packages
  • Generate claimant call list
  • Complete claimant appointment reminder calls
  • Complete appointment letters
  • Assist with entering cases and services, generating notices/correspondence, scheduling secondary service providers
  • Complete administrative follow up
  • Support administrative duties across reception and documents team
  • Sending reports
