Medical Malpractice Attorney – Remote work! - PA / NJ - 130k - 180k Founded in the 1980’s, we have built a solid foundation in civil litigation with several hundred defense verdicts and hundreds more defense arbitration awards. With over 45 attorneys and offices in Pennsylvania, New York and New Jersey, we have extensive expertise defending auto liability, premise liability, toxic tort, products liability, bad faith/coverage and healthcare fraud cases. Insurance claims professionals, hospitals, supermarkets, property management companies, commercial real estate owners and self-insured businesses rely on us for our strategic counsel in matters of defense. We have openings currently for both plaintiff and defense med mal attorneys. Can work remote, but will go to occasional court meetings. The successful candidate will have previously managed a full caseload of Medical Malpractice. Draft pleadings, correspondence, memoranda, and other case related documents Communicate with clients and opposing counsel Identify, research, and analyze legal issues and conflicting legal opinions Take and defend depositions, handle arbitrations, and argue motions Attend in-person and virtual court appearances Analyze and summarize medical or other case related records and highlight important information Required · Recent med mal experience
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will manage a full caseload of Medical Malpractice cases, draft legal documents, and communicate with clients and opposing counsel. They will also take and defend depositions, handle arbitrations, and attend court appearances.
