We are searching for the best talent for Medical Manager Oncology to be in Bogotá, Colombia.
Purpose: Medical Manager Oncology mission is to develop, and oversee the local execution of, the Oncology medical strategy, for in-market and pipeline products, in close collaboration with the Brand Team.
You will be responsible for:
- Lead scientific discussions with key internal and external stakeholders / influencers (e.g., KOLs, Medical societies, etc.) focusing on changing medical behavior through the exchange of scientific knowledge and conveying the value of the attributes related to innovation
- Lead the sharing of scientific knowledge to internal stakeholders e.g., through provision of training to help to ensure the highest standards of brand/therapy expertise in customer-facing teams
- Provide insights around key brands, marketplace themes/trends and competitors
- Decision making on current and future license indications and enable internal and external customers to make informed decisions
- Increase the customers understanding of Janssen products and compliance
- Point of contact for investigators proposing investigator-initiated studies (IIS) and manage such studies in collaboration with GCO- MAO
- Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine speakers externally for specific forums where Medical Affairs can add important value to the discussions
- Scientific Support communications dept with patient advocacy groups and their initiatives e.g., responding to clinical interest, gathering insights
- Develop Key Opinion Leaders strategic mapping and engagement
- Co-lead with the Market Access department the guidelines and endorsement strategy, identifying local gaps and regional gaps to involve the correct Medical Affairs Stakeholders • Work in collaboration with Medical Affairs Regional Leader for PI and site selection and engagement strategy (resolve issues with enrolled sites, and participate in meetings as appropriate, including site initiation visits and investigator launch meetings) aligned with Therapeutic Area head/Senior medical manager
- Provide real time coaching for MSL team to support the development of scientific and soft skills when applicable
- Contributes to regional IEGP process providing data generation gaps for Key inline and pipeline less than 24 months product when Therapeutic Area head is not available
- Collaborate with RA, PV, PSP for key processes such as Risk management plans, etc.
QUALIFICATIONS
Qualifications
- Therapeutic Area : oncology solid tumors is a plus, not mandatory
- Scientific knowledge and skills to interpret scientific data
- 3 - 5 Years Work Experience in Medical Affairs in Pharmaceutical companies
- Communication and presentation skills
- Business acumen
- Teamwork, leadership, negotiation, coaching and influencing skills – able to work effectively in a matrix
- Awareness of, and adherence to, Johnson & Johnson Credo values
