We are looking for individuals who want to join our team in Spangdahlem, Germany!

SUMMARY

Personnel needed to provide warehouse support services to the Medical Logistics Flight at the 52 Medical Group Medical Treatment Facility (MTC) in Spangdahlem, Germany.

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Performs a broad range of standard receiving assignments. Verifies shipments. Matches specific item ID by name, stock number, letter, code, quantity, or unit of issue on containers. Unloads incoming shipments, scans bar codes, or keys receipt information into the automated record system
  • Performs a broad range of standard storage assignments. Stores, stacks palletizes, and rotates items considering their use, size, shape, quantity, and special handling requirements. Matches, checks, and compares data on storage instruments with materials to be stored against materials already in storage locations
  • Performs tasks involved in issuing/shipping items. Selects and assembles items based on priority, type of material, mode of transportation, destination, and type of transaction
  • Assists in accomplishing inventories by counting items and properly completing tally listings and other inventory documents
  • Operates automated material handling and identification equipment to include mobile stock selectors and electromechanical automated equipment such as high-rise automated storage and retrieval vehicles, to move, stack and unstack, load and unload bins, and position material
  • Performs material handling duties, including the use of tools and other equipment, safely, utilizing safety practices and procedures, and complying with established safety rules and regulations.
  • Maintains records and documents

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Able to read, understand, speak, and write English
  • High School diploma or General Educational Development (GED) equivalency
  • Completed and maintained Basic Life Support Training
  • Be physically capable of performing routine warehouse activities.
