JOB DESCRIPTION

Cardio Connect, a cardiology clinic, is seeking a highly motivated and approachable Medical Office Assistant (MOA) to join our dynamic team in St. Albert. The successful candidate will be required to work independently and focus on administrative tasks.
Our specialist clinic services the geographic area of Edmonton and its surrounding communities. While experience within the cardiology field is a bonus, we will train the right candidate for all office specific MOA procedures and tasks.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Current MOA certification or equivalent.
  • Minimum three years of MOA experience in a clinic/hospital setting is preferred.
  • Excellent computer skills.
  • Familiarity with MS Office Suite.
  • Experience with Netcare and use of HealthQuest an asset but can be taught.
  • Clear criminal record check with vulnerable sector search.
  • Highly professional, engaged, and self-motivated team player focused on provision of anexcellent level of customer service.
  • Respectful team player with above average communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to actively participate in, promote, and lead change.
  • Ability to seek out feedback on performance, set professional goals, and take constructivecriticism as an opportunity to grow.
  • The desire and ability to surpass the minimum expectations of your role.
