JOB DESCRIPTION

The ideal candidate is well organized, highly motivated and able to work in a fast paced environment. Attention to detail is important. A positive attitude and approachable personality is needed in dealing with patients. The successful candidate must be a team player who is flexible, willing to contribute and assist where needed. There is a high number of telephone calls requiring interaction with the patients. Good judgement and decision making skills is crucial. Communication it is important demonstrating tact, courtesy and professionalism at all times.

Typical duties include:

  • Scanning and filing medical documents
  • Must be proficient in the use of a computer
  • Creating and maintaining patient charts
  • Faxing, mail, reception, switchboard and general medical office processes
  • Scheduling and confirming patient appointments
  • Works collaboratively with physicians and clinical staff to provide exceptional patient care
  • Adheres to all privacy and confidentiality policies and procedures
  • Project a positive image at all times
  • Good judgement and discretion in dealing with sensitive and confidential issues
  • Adapts to changing procedures as needed

Job Type: Casual
Pay: $21.00-$22.00 per hour
