ABOUT US

The team at Chrysalis Obstetrics & Gynaecology consists of 6 specialized Obstetrics/Gynaecology consultants.

WORK HOURS: CAN VARY - MAINLY 4-8-HOURS SHIFTS

We are looking for a part-time/full-time candidate to help with administrative duties in clinic. You will be accountable for providing administrative support and services to pregnant and gynaecology patients in our clinic. The services and care you provide to our patients will be in accordance to the CPSA Standards of Practice – policies and procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

  • Post-secondary certificate or diploma (MOA, Health Information Office Assistant or related)
  • Strong attention to detail, effective communicator – oral and written; knowledge of medical terminology a plus
  • Ability to work independently and within a team – quick to learn and adapt to daily demands in the clinic
  • Ability to prioritize daily tasks, multitask and complete them in a timely manner
  • Language: English a must, other language skills an asset
  • Excellent computer skills – typing skills, data entry, MS Office, experience using EMR software an asset
  • Medical office related experience a plus
    Salary and Benefits – negotiable

    Pay: From $19.00 per hour
    Expected hours: 20 – 32 per week

Responsibilities
  • Punctual, reliable and professional and good team player
  • Greets patients, excellent phone manners
  • Schedules and manages appointments on an EMR software
  • Enters, verifies and updates patient details
  • Scans and files documents into the system
  • Provides support to physicians: sends letters and patient referrals, schedules and confirms imaging and other related appointments for patients
  • Other related administrative duties as assigned
