Your expertise will help streamline office operations, support patient care, and maintain accurate medical records. Responsibilities

  • Greet patients and visitors warmly, providing excellent front desk support in a fast-paced environment.
  • Manage multi-line phone systems to schedule appointments, answer inquiries, and relay messages promptly.
  • Maintain and update electronic medical records using Epic and other electronic health record systems with precision and confidentiality.
  • Assist with patient check-in and check-out procedures, verifying insurance information and collecting necessary documentation.
  • Support clinical staff by preparing exam rooms, sterilizing equipment, and handling administrative tasks related to patient care.
  • Utilize Accuro management software for scheduling, billing, and patient record management when applicable.
  • Handle administrative duties such as filing, data entry, and managing office supplies to ensure smooth daily operations.
  • Communicate effectively with patients regarding appointment reminders, test results, or follow-up instructions using clear medical terminology.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience working in a medical or dental office environment with familiarity in front desk operations.
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology to accurately interpret and communicate clinical information.
  • Experience with electronic medical records systems such as Epic or similar platforms is highly preferred.
  • Proficiency in dental software like Dentrix is a plus for dental office settings.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in busy office environments.
  • Previous experience handling multi-line phone systems and managing appointment scheduling.
  • Demonstrated administrative experience supporting healthcare professionals or front desk functions.
