Job Summary

Sunset Specialist Clinic is seeking a full time Medical Office Assistant (MOA) to join our office.

Our clinic provides specialty care in Internal Medicine and Respirology, and we have two physicians in our office.

Duties

• Managing patient electronic medical records using the Plexia EMR platform
• Scheduling patient appointments
• Answering patient inquiries via telephone
• Managing referrals and correspondence
• Providing administrative support to the physicians

Qualifications

• Prior medical office experience is highly desirable
• Familiarity with Plexia EMR is a strong asset
• Knowledge of medical terminology to accurately interpret clinical notes and documentation
• Experience with managing patient data securely
• Excellent communication skills for front desk interactions and phone system management
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Pay: $26.00-$28.00 per hour
