Are you a detail-oriented and compassionate professional looking to make a meaningful impact in healthcare? The Kelowna Community Service Centre has an exciting opportunity for a Permanent, Full-Time Medical Office Assistant (MOA) to join our dedicated team in Kelowna, B.C.
In this role, you will support our busy Opioid Agonist Treatment (OAT) Clinic, playing a key part in delivering vital care to our community. You will also provide cross-coverage and contribute to our Virtual Addictions Medicine (VAM) program, ensuring seamless support for patients and providers.
Hours of work are rotating days and evenings, from 08:00 to 16:00, 08:30 to 16:30, 10:00 to 18:00, 12:00 to 20:00.
EDUCATION, TRAINING & EXPERIENCE
Grade 12,
Graduation from a Medical Office Assistant course from an accredited Community College, plus
Two years recent related experience in a health care setting; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Valid BC Driver’s License as required
Completion of an administered 5 minute typing certificate of 40wpm in the last 24 months from an approved institution (non-supervised tests are not accepted)
