Medical Office Assistant Position Available
Life Medical Clinic is looking for a passionate and enthusiastic worker to join our team as a Medical Office Assistant. This is a full time position in this diverse stimulating position, you will fulfill 40hrs/wk.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Medical office experience
  • Strong front desk and administrative skills
  • Familiarity with multi-line phone systems

Life Medical Position duties will include:

  • Utilizing the Electronic Medical Record to schedule, prepare reports, create and pay invoices, sort and create letters and forms, and optimization of the records system
  • Multi-tasking many administrative tasks such as answering phones & monitoring the cancellation line, recalling patients, greeting and rooming patients
  • Processing of urinalysis/cultures, pregnancy tests, and eye exams
  • Creating specimen requisitions and labels
  • Being a chaperone for and assisting physicians with minor procedures, completing forms and relaying messages
  • Working with patients to complete intake forms and documents
  • Operate medical and office equipment including autoclave, scanner and fax machines
  • Clean and organize all work areas
  • Weekly cash-out procedures
  • Weekly cleaning of specialized machinery
  • Opening & Closing of Clinic, locking & arming doors
