JOB SUMMARY

Castledowns Medical and Wellness Center is seeking a friendly, organized, and motivated Medical Office Assistant (MOA) to join our team in a unique dual-role position.
This is a hybrid role that combines traditional medical office duties — such as rooming patients, managing appointments, and supporting physicians — with the opportunity to engage patients in our growing medical aesthetics department, Castledowns Laser & Aesthetics, located inside the clinic.
The ideal candidate is passionate about patient care, comfortable in a clinical setting, and eager to learn about the latest non-invasive aesthetic treatments. You’ll play an active role in introducing aesthetics services to patients, answering basic questions, and earning commission on any bookings you help generate.

QUALIFICATIONS

• MOA certification or equivalent experience
• Experience in a medical or clinical setting preferred
• Familiarity with HealthQuest EMR is a strong asset
• Excellent communication, organization, and multitasking skills
• Willingness to learn and confidently discuss aesthetic treatments (training provided)
• Positive, professional, and team-oriented attitude

Medical Office Duties:

• Greet and check-in patients with professionalism and warmth
• Manage scheduling, phone calls, and appointment bookings
• Maintain and update electronic medical records (EMR)
• Room patients, take vitals, and assist physicians as needed
• Process billing, referrals, and maintain clean exam areas

Aesthetics Integration:

• Learn about our medical aesthetics procedures (e.g., laser, skin tightening, microneedling)
• Introduce patients to our aesthetics services during rooming or check-in
• Answer basic questions and encourage consultations or bookings
• Earn commission for every successful aesthetics referral you generate
