Castleridge Health Centre is a busy, fast-paced, and patient-focused multidisciplinary clinic located in NE Calgary. We pride ourselves on delivering compassionate, efficient and high-quality care to our diverse community. In addition to our medical services, we offer advanced treatments in our Medical Aesthetics department, including skin rejuvenation and massage therapy.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are seeking two enthusiastic and dedicated Medical Office Assistants to join our growing team. The ideal candidates will be adaptable, quick learners, and passionate about providing excellent patient care in a high-volume clinical environment.
Bilingual or multilingual applicants are strongly encouraged to apply-Punjabi, Hindi, Urdu, Pashto, Tagalog, Ukrainian language skills are a significant asset due to our diverse patient base. Fluency in English writing and reading skills is a MUST.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and assist patients in a friendly and professional manner
  • Manage patient scheduling, check-in and check-out
  • Operate and update patient charts in Med Access EMR software
  • Answer phone calls, emails and handle patient inquiries
  • Assist physicians and clinical staff with administrative tasks
  • Maintain confidentiality and follow clinic policies and procedures
  • Handle stressful situations and distressed clients calmly and professionally
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations

Qualifications & Skills

  • Previous experience as an MOA or in a medical/clinical setting preferred
  • Proficiency with Med Access EMR (or willingness to learn quickly)
  • Strong multitasking skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Friendly and approachable demeanor with a professional attitude
  • Bilingual/Multilingual- Punjabi, Hindi or Tagalog speaking a strong asset
  • Proficiency in English speaking and writing skills
  • Demonstrated willingness to learn and grow within the clinic
  • Interest in medical aesthetics and wellness treatments is an asset
