JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a dedicated and organized Medical Office Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our medical office, providing exceptional administrative support, and enhancing patient experiences. This position requires proficiency in medical terminology and familiarity with electronic medical records systems, such as Medaccess.

REQUIREMENTS

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in medical office administration is a plus.
  • Proficiency in medical terminology and experience working in a medical or dental office setting.
  • Familiarity with EMR systems, particularly Medaccess is highly desirable.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with patients and staff.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while maintaining professionalism under pressure.
  • Previous experience in an administrative role within a healthcare setting is preferred but not mandatory.
