Patient Service Coordinator Full-Time | Wilmington, DE (Augustine Cutoff Location) We are seeking a Medical Office Assistant – Patient Services to join our team at our Wilmington, DE (Augustine Cutoff) location. If you enjoy helping others, thrive in a fast-paced healthcare environment, and take pride in providing exceptional customer service, we'd love to meet you!   What You'll Do: As a Medical Office Assistant – Patient Services, you will work closely with clinicians, physician offices, insurance companies, and fellow team members to ensure our patients receive timely, high-quality care. Your responsibilities will include: * Provide exceptional customer service to patients, referral sources, and healthcare providers. * Prepare, review, and process patient work orders accurately and in a timely manner. * Enter and maintain accurate patient information within company systems. * Verify insurance eligibility, benefits, and obtain required pre-authorizations. * Gather and submit required documentation for insurance reimbursement. * Coordinate with clinicians and physician offices to ensure timely patient care. * Learn and navigate company software, phone systems, and electronic medical records. * Maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA guidelines. * Perform additional administrative duties as assigned. Qualifications: We're looking for someone who: * Works independently while contributing to a collaborative team. * Demonstrates sound judgment and strong problem-solving skills. * Communicates professionally with patients, providers, and coworkers. * Thrives in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment. * Has excellent organizational and time management skills. * Can prioritize multiple tasks while meeting deadlines. * Maintains accurate and concise documentation. * Handles confidential information with professionalism. * Is proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel. * Has a high school diploma or equivalent. Preferred Qualifications: * Previous medical office or customer service experience. * Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, insurance verification, or medical coding is a plus.
