We are a high quality and busy multi-practitioner physiotherapist, chiropractic, kinesiologist, and massage therapy office currently looking for a bright and energetic, well-spoken, detail-oriented, medical office assistant with exceptional customer service. This posting is a permanent, full-time position. Applicants MUST have a minimum of 5+ years of customer service experience in dealing with the public, ability to multi-task, and show empathy and compassion. Past experience in the medical field is an asset but not a must as we are willing to train the right candidate. We thank all applicants; however, only qualified candidates will be contacted for an interview.

Shifts are Monday to Friday, 36-40 hrs./week, and must be able to work all hours/shifts including openings and closings (7am starts and 7pm closings).

Qualifications and Requirements:

*Medical Office Assistant Certificate (asset but not required)

*Minimum 5+ years of customer service experience

*Keyboarding skills, a min of 40 wpm

*Ability to multi-task, a self-starter and be able to prioritize required duties

*Professional telephone manners and attitude

*Fluent in speaking and written English

*Strong customer service, organizational skills and attention to detail

*Experience with scheduling and billing software

Overview of basic Duties:

*Maintaining patient flow into the office

*Maintaining clinic cleanliness throughout the shift

*Booking/Modifying Appointments & Schedule Management

*Accurate data entry

*Answering phone and email inquiries

*Billing to third-party insurance companies

* Processing payments and cashing out at the end of the day

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00-$22.00 per hour
