Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Clinic Receptionist / MOA to join our healthcare facility. The ideal candidate will manage the front desk, ensuring efficient patient flow, exceptional customer service, and keeping a sterile and clean facility. The Clinic Receptionist plays a pivotal role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for patients, visitors, and staff while handling various administrative tasks to support the clinic’s operations.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience as a receptionist in a healthcare setting or similar environment.
  • Fast typer.
  • Proficiency in Accuro and office software is Mandatory.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with patients, staff, and external contacts.
  • Due to patient demographics, ability to speak Mandarin Chinese is an asset but not required.
  • Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail in managing administrative tasks.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Understanding of patient confidentiality and compliance with healthcare regulations.
  • Additional certifications or training in healthcare administration preferred.

    Pay: $18.00-$23.00 per hour

Responsibilities
  • Greet patients and visitors in a friendly, professional manner, ensuring a positive first impression of the clinic.
  • Manage incoming calls, schedule appointments, and direct inquiries to the appropriate department or staff member.
  • Maintain patient records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality in compliance with healthcare regulations.
  • Coordinate patient check-ins and check-outs, verifying insurance information and collecting payments.
  • Manage and organize patient appointments, follow-ups, and referrals efficiently.
  • Assist in administrative tasks and data entry.
  • Use Accuro, an EMR system, or similar to handle patient flow.
  • Collaborate with medical staff to ensure smooth patient flow and address any patient concerns or issues promptly.
  • Uphold compliance with IPAC and PHIPA regulations.
  • Ensure hygienic and sterile facilities.
