Responsibilities

Greet patients and visitors warmly, establishing a positive first impression
Answer multi-line phone systems promptly and professionally, directing calls as needed
Schedule appointments efficiently using electronic medical records systems oscar Pro.
Verify patient information, insurance details, and update records accurately
Manage patient check-in and check-out processes with attention to detail
Handle administrative duties including filing, data entry, and correspondence
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area to promote a professional environment
Assist with billing, coding, and insurance claims processing when necessary
Support clinical staff by preparing patient charts and documentation

Requirements

Prior experience as a oscar pro receptionist or medical office assistant preferred
Strong knowledge of medical terminology and electronic medical records systems
Proven office experience with excellent organizational skills
Ability to operate multi-line phone systems efficiently in a busy environment
Familiarity with medical office procedures and workflows
Excellent communication skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
Ability to handle sensitive information discreetly and maintain confidentiality
Previous experience working with front desk responsibilities in healthcare settings is highly desirable
