THIS IS A SHORT TERM DISABILITY REPLACEMENT POSITION WITH THE POSSIBILITY OF BECOME PART-TIME PERMANENT.

We are seeking a dedicated and organized Medical Office Assistant to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing administrative support in a medical office environment, ensuring smooth operations and excellent patient care. The ideal candidate will possess strong front desk and communication skills. If you are new to the MOA world we are willing to train the right candidate. There is some travel required for this position so a valid drives license and a reliable car is a must if you are applying for this job.

SKILLS

  • Proficiency in front desk operations within a medical office setting.
  • Familiarity with Accuro systems; experience desirable.
  • Strong understanding of medical terminology to facilitate effective communication with healthcare professionals.
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in managing patient records and appointments.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and staff members.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
  • Previous experience is a plus but we will train the right candidate

  • Greet patients and visitors warmly, providing a welcoming atmosphere at the front desk.

  • Maintain accurate patient records using electronic medical records (EMR) systems - Accuro
  • Collect patient information, including medical history and insurance details, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with regulations.
  • Perform general administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and managing correspondence.
  • Support the office team by coordinating patient flow and assisting during procedures when necessary.
