Description

As a member of the team, the MOA will provide administrative support to the Inter-professional team at our Breslau and Kitchener sites and may be asked to support Cambridge site on occasion. This is a frontline position and includes, welcoming clients, answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, processing associated documents, managing referrals and new patient intakes, and other required administrative duties. Working within PS Suites electronic medical records system is a daily expectation of the role. This is a full-time position at 37.5 hours per week (part time hours are possible if preferred) including 1 evening shift per week. REQUIREMENTS:

  • Diploma or certificate in from an Office/Business Administrative or Medical Secretary program
  • At least 2 years’ experience in an administrative position in a health care organization-preferably primary care
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities and a keen sense of organization
  • Excellent information technology skills including working knowledge of Windows, Microsoft Office 365, and Electronic Medical Records- Practice Solutions experience an asset
  • Excellent, written, verbal and interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility in your availability for work hours will be required
  • Flexibility in your ability to work from Cambridge and Kitchener sites occasionally as required
  • Ability to maintain information in confidence and respect sensitive information
