Description University Physicians’ Association is seeking a friendly, organized, and dependable Medical Office Assistant to support both front desk and back-office functions in a busy surgical setting at Southeastern Surgical Specialists, located in Dayton, TN. Key Responsibilities: Greet patients and manage check-in and check-out processes Schedule patient appointments and answer incoming phone calls Verify insurance coverage and obtain prior authorizations and pre-certifications Perform insurance billing, coding, and submit clean claims Post payments and maintain accurate patient and billing records Assist with general office duties and help maintain a welcoming waiting room This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with patients and plays a key role in keeping an office running smoothly. Hours are Monday through Friday.
