JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a dedicated and organized Medical Office Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our medical office, providing exceptional support to both patients and healthcare professionals. This position requires strong administrative skills, proficiency in electronic medical records (MOIS), and the ability to manage front desk responsibilities effectively.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous experience in a medical office setting is preferred.
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records system MOIS is a plus.
  • Strong administrative skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
  • Proficiency in handling phone systems and managing front desk operations.
  • A commitment to providing high-quality patient care and service.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet patients warmly and assist them with the check-in process.
  • Manage phone systems to handle incoming calls, schedule appointments, and address patient inquiries.
  • Maintain accurate patient records using electronic medical records systems such as MOIS.
  • Perform administrative tasks including filing, data entry, and managing office supplies.
  • Ensure efficient office operations.
  • Assist with billing and insurance verification processes as needed.
  • Ensure the front desk area is organized and welcoming for patients.
