Duties

  • Greet patients and visitors warmly, providing excellent front desk service and guiding them through check-in procedures
  • Manage multi-line phone systems to schedule appointments, answer inquiries, and coordinate patient flow
  • Maintain accurate electronic medical records using Health quest or similar electronic health record systems
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and managing office supplies to ensure operational efficiency
  • Prepare exam rooms, sterilize equipment, and support clinical staff as needed to facilitate smooth patient visits
  • Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, including faxes and emails, with professionalism and confidentiality

Skills

  • Proficiency in Healthquest electronic medical records systems software is highly desirable
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology to accurately document patient information
  • Previous experience as a medical office receptionist or in a dental office environment is preferred
  • Demonstrated office experience with front desk responsibilities in medical or dental settings
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment
  • Experience operating multi-line phone systems with professionalism and clarity
  • Ability to communicate clearly and empathetically with patients, colleagues, and healthcare providers
