Position Summary The Medical Office Director provides strategic leadership and operational oversight of our school medical and nutrition services teams. In partnership with the Lead RN, this role ensures the delivery of high-quality, client-centered healthcare tailored to the unique needs of our students and clients. Key Responsibilities Lead Medical Operations: Set strategic direction and delegate clinical oversight to the Lead RN. Coordinate Client Care: Drive interdisciplinary collaboration and communication across medical and residential teams. Quality & Compliance: Oversee audits, implement corrective actions, and ensure adherence to Kansas school medication guidelines. Risk Management: Develop policies and lead audit readiness and licensure compliance. Budget & Resources: Manage department budgets and recommend staffing and equipment needs. Team Leadership: Guide and develop team members, promote morale, and uphold company policies. Requirements Education and Experience: 7+ years’ experience in medical office or healthcare operations management is required. Must maintain current CPR and NCI certifications (attain within first month of employment, if don't currently have). Demonstrated ability to manage complex RN department challenges and initiatives. Demonstrated ability to align medical office initiatives with overall business goals, driving work culture and anticipating future workforce needs. BSN/MSN in Nursing or Healthcare Administration, preferred. A history of demonstrated leadership working with individuals with developmental complexities, preferred. Kansas Licensure (APRN, RN or higher), preferred. You are a great fit for this role if you have knowledge and abilities in: Deep understanding of medical office and/or nursing practices, particularly with developmental behavioral disabilities. Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a diverse clinical team, fostering a positive and productive work environment. Excellent time management, organizational, and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment. Solid communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with others. Teamwork, dependability, and strong customer-centric approach. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, and digital tools/platforms.
