OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Medical Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of our medical facility. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in both medical and dental office environments, demonstrating proficiency in managing staff, coordinating patient care, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations. This role is crucial in maintaining a high standard of patient service while optimizing office efficiency.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience in a medical or dental office setting; prior hospital experience is a plus.
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records systems; experience MED ACCESS EMR highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of medical terminology and healthcare regulations.
  • Demonstrated supervisory experience with the ability to lead a diverse team effectively.
  • Skills in budgeting and financial management within a healthcare context.
  • Background in nursing or acute care is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service.
  • Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Able to support QI -projects and manage electronic payroll and electronic and traditional paper bill payments
    Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fixed term contract
    Contract length: 12 months
    Pay: $26.00-$30.00 per hour
    Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
