JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and organized Medical Receptionist to join our busy fast paced healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing tasks efficiently. This role requires a strong understanding of Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems with at least 1 year of experience in a Family Practice/walk in clinic setting.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Previous experience as a medical receptionist or in a similar role within a healthcare environment is preferred.
  • Proficiency in electronic medical records systems; familiarity Accuro is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Responsibilities
  • Greet patients warmly and assist them with the check-in process at the front desk.
  • Manage phone systems to handle incoming calls, schedule appointments, and respond to patient inquiries.
  • Maintain accurate patient records using Accuro EMR
  • Verify patient information.
  • Coordinate with staff to ensure smooth patient flow and communication within the office.
  • Obtain patient height/weight/heart rate/etc
  • Handle billing inquiries and facilitate payment processes as needed.
