OVERVIEW

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Office Specialist to join our team. This role is essential in providing administrative support within a medical or dental office environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, proficiency in various electronic health record (EHR) systems, and a solid understanding of medical terminology and coding. The Office Specialist will play a vital role in ensuring efficient office operations, patient service, and compliance with health regulations.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Previous experience in a medical or dental office setting is preferred but not required; familiarity with clinic operations is a plus.
  • Experience with EMR systems such as Epic, Meditech, Athenahealth, eClinicalWorks or Dentrix is highly desirable.
  • Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel) and typing accuracy (10 key typing).
  • Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare professionals.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for documentation review and filing processes.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team while managing multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
