Medical Officer, Department of Biological and Biomedical Sciences Location: Karachi, Pakistan. Job Role / Responsibilities: You are required to: assist the supervisor in conducting, managing and planning research projects by determining theoretical aspects of the problem and selecting appropriate methods conduct experiments, analyse data and interpret results prepare write-ups, manuscripts, research reports, presentations and research grant applications for publication and funding carry out literature searches using various search engines maintain accurate and up-to-date research records supervise research volunteers and medical students in research techniques raise PRs and MSRs for research supplies and consumables and maintain records of requisitions organise and conduct workshops for capacity building manage clinical diagnosis and oversee all research-related activities under the supervision of the assigned research projects manage and maintain clinical data, consumables and other items needed for the project actively participate in capacity-building initiatives and professional development. Eligibility Criteria / Requirements: You should have: an MBBS degree, with postgraduate or specialized training in Endocrinology preferred a minimum of one year of relevant clinical and research experience extensive experience in the clinical diagnosis and management of congenital hypogonadotropic hypogonadism and other reproductive endocrine disorders the ability to work independently and lead a team the ability to design and carry out an independent research programme excellent scientific writing skills excellent communication and interpersonal skills the ability and willingness to mentor or supervise undergraduate and postgraduate students project management skills experience in representing the institution at national and international conferences. Comprehensive employment reference checks will be conducted.
