GENERAL INFORMATION
As Medical Operations Manager (f/m/d) at Medigo, you will be part of a close-knit team handling incoming medical insurance claims and medical reports while providing the best possible support for the insured members undergoing medical treatment.
The position is available at the earliest possible date, is offered full-time or part-time, and located in Berlin or remotely within Germany.

Responsibilities:
You provide thorough medical assessments of incoming health insurance claims, including pre-existing condition checks and reasonable & customary price analysis.
You use your professional advice to provide input on the necessity of medical procedures and cost forecasting.
- You scrutinize medical invoices to identify errors and generate potential savings, and are responsible for applying best practices in cost containment.
- You liaise with medical providers before, during, and after admission to inquire about the patient’s status and avoid unnecessary prolonged admissions.
- You are responsible for the delivery of Second Medical Opinions (SMOs) and responsible for liaising with our insurance partners on the most complex admissions.
- You have the opportunity to influence and improve our processes and best practices by bringing in your own ideas.
