DESCRIPTION:

The position of Product Manager is a full-time, salaried position that reports to the Director of Product Management. The position may include a focus on EMR, Practice Management or both. The areas of responsibilities include: accountable for delivery of high-usability product(s) which fit within CHS strategy and style standards; building and maintaining positive client relationships; business requirements gathering; project management; site visits; trade show participation; transfer of knowledge to other teams such as training, project management, and support, etc. and other duties as assigned.

SKILLS:

  • Ability to communicate in a clear, concise manner both verbally and in writing as well as the ability to tailor communications to the receiving audience.
  • Effectively demonstrate and communicate product functionality.
  • Expert-level knowledge of business analysis, project management and testing principals with focus on task management.
  • Ability to complete tasks with minimum level of supervision and balance that ability with knowing when to ask for assistance.
  • Must be able to travel without restriction.
  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as a member of a team.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of technical interactions to include: infrastructure, hardware, databases, database management systems, programming languages, software and user interfaces.
  • Personal accountability for professional successes and failures.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum five years’ experience with Compulink Products
  • Minimum five years’ progressive experience in IT with an emphasis on business analysis, project management or QA.
  • Bachelor of Science Degree or Equivalent
  • Eligible to work in US
  • Proficiency with English language

    Pay: $95,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year

Responsibilities
  • Accountability for delivery of product(s) that are both highly usable, as validated by usability testing, and are consistent with corporate strategy.
  • Client-facing communications may include: attending trade shows, presentations to prospects and clients, visiting both prospective and existing client sites, the intake and triage of both external and internal requests and working with requestors to validate design proposals.
  • Accountable to perform market research and maintain current knowledge about compliance changes including but not limited to MACRA/MIPS, CPT and diagnostic coding, sales tax changes, practice management and other initiatives.
  • Perform business analysis to include collecting details regarding business needs; documenting workflows; translating needs and work flows into requirements and effectively communicating requirements to the Director of Product Management.
  • Collect specialty-specific / specialty-applicable table content as well as build / populate said tables, as applicable.
  • Prepare clear, concise, and easily understood, written and oral, internal communications to facilitate timely delivery of training material on new and improved functionality. Accountability for product bread crumb trails and version release notes. Version release notes to be updated on a weekly basis for timely education to our teams and our clients. Most version release notes should be entered 1 month prior to an export, leaving only items in the last month after feedback sessions with clients and internal teams to be documented as they are modified and on a weekly basis at minimum.
  • Documentation and updating users project sheets to mark steps and times completed for reporting on project management goals and timelines.
  • Perform quality analysis of both product functionality and product design (look and feel) both alone and in conjunction with those who have requested changes. Communicating any new workflows, smart functions, and fields to the Director of Product Management to ensure there are not duplications of items and to determine possibility of items that would be generic.
  • Participate in user group meetings and sales presentations as assigned. User group meetings to be held one month prior to the export date to ensure usability and feedback on functionality, allowing time for revisions to be made prior to export.
  • Perform duties effectively as defined in core skills to achieve corporate, department and individual goals.
  • Meetings with other internal teams, monthly or at minimum a month prior to each major release, to address objections and needed functionality.
  • Working with Data Management team to define best workflows and needs for new conversions.
  • Working with Interoperability team regarding workflows and needs for new interfaces.
  • Responsible for Peer QC, QC based on BCT from fellow PM on items that were touched.
  • Attendance of mandatory development and design meetings assigned by the Director or Product Management or Programming. There are two mandatory corporate meetings and then additional web-based meetings will be assigned throughout the year.
