Description

To provide a safe, well-maintained, and welcoming environment for patients, staff, and visitors by undertaking routine maintenance, repairs, and facilities support across the medical practice. The postholder will support the Practice Manager and clinical team in ensuring the premises meet health, safety, and infection control requirements. This post will be subject to a DBS check.

Duties will include:

  • Carry out routine maintenance, basic repairs, and minor decoration across the practice.
  • Conduct regular inspections of the premises to identify hazards, wear and tear, or damage.
  • Assist with the upkeep of waiting areas, consultation rooms, staff rooms, toilets, and external areas.
  • Report any significant repairs or safety concerns to the Practice Manager promptly.
  • Contribute to the security of the building, including opening and locking up the premises when required.
  • Monitor and report any security concerns (e.g., damage, vandalism, unauthorised access).

Hour of work: 1hr per day Monday – Friday 8am – 9am (we are flexible with the times)
The hourly rate is depending on experience
