QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

  • Experience: 3–5+ years in medical practice management, preferably in a specialty setting like nephrology.
  • Education: Bachelor’s in Healthcare Administration, Business, or a related field required; Master’s (MBA, MHA) preferred.
  • Leadership: Strong interpersonal and team management skills.
  • Financial Knowledge: Expertise in billing, coding (ICD-10, CPT), budgeting, and revenue cycle management.
  • Organization: Excellent time management, problem-solving, and attention to detail.
  • Communication: Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Adaptability: Comfortable in a fast-paced environment and responsive to change.
  • Technical Proficiency: Skilled in EHR systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

As Practice Manager, you will oversee the clinic’s administrative and operational functions, including:

  • Operations Management: Direct daily operations to ensure efficient patient flow and compliance with quality standards.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and support administrative and clinical staff. Responsibilities include hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management.
  • Financial Oversight: Manage budgeting, billing, collections, and revenue cycle activities to maintain financial health in a cost-effective manner
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to healthcare regulations (HIPAA, OSHA, CMS), maintain accurate records, and promote patient safety.
  • Patient Experience: Improve satisfaction through streamlined scheduling, prompt resolution of concerns, and a welcoming clinic environment.
  • Strategic Collaboration: Partner with physicians and leadership to align operations with clinical goals and implement growth initiatives, including value-based care programs (e.g., CCM, RPM).
  • Technology Optimization: Oversee EHR systems and practice management software to improve efficiency and data accuracy.
