Job Title: Medical Radiation Technologist (MRT) – Ontario (Local & Travel Opportunities)
Pay Rate: $65–$75/hour
Location: Ontario (local positions and travel assignments available across Northern and Southern Ontario; accommodations provided for travel roles)

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Certified Medical Radiation Technologist (MRT) in good standing with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO)
  • Minimum 1 year of clinical imaging experience preferred
  • CT certification an asset for CT-specific roles
  • Experience in additional modalities (e.g., sonography, mammography) is an asset
  • Strong communication and critical thinking skills
  • Flexibility to work in both local and travel assignments

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE:

911 Nurses GTA is hiring experienced Medical Radiation Technologists (MRTs) for both local hospital placements and short-term travel assignments across Ontario. Our priority need is for CT and X-ray technologists, though we are also considering professionals with skills in other modalities such as sonography and mammography.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures (X-ray and/or CT) with precision and professionalism
  • Ensure patient safety, comfort, and dignity during all procedures
  • Operate and maintain imaging equipment according to established protocols
  • Accurately document and communicate findings in patient records
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and allied health teams
  • Adhere to infection control and quality assurance standards
