EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • Certification: Medical Radiation Technologist certification/diploma/degree from an accredited program.
  • Licensing: Active member of the College of Medical Radiation Technologists of Ontario (CMRTO).
  • Professional Membership: Active member of the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT).
  • Experience: Previous experience in radiologic imaging is preferred.

PHYSICAL & PSYCHOLOGICAL HEALTH REQUIREMENTS:

  • The role may involve physical activities, including extended periods of standing, moving patients and managing equipment.
  • Must be able to practice patience and empathy while interacting with patients experiencing both acute/chronic pain.
  • Ability to assist patients entering or exiting the clinic with mobility challenges.

ROLE DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

As a Medical Radiation Technologist (MRT) at Infini Health, you will be responsible for performing high-quality radiologic exams to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating patients. You will be an integral part of our medical team, working closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes, particularly in musculoskeletal and neurological health.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform high-quality radiologic exams on patients in a timely manner, adhering to imaging protocols.
  • Follow requisitions and special instructions to ensure the correct images are taken.
  • Collaborate with physicians to assist in diagnosis and treatment planning.
  • Apply technical judgment to ensure optimal imaging results while maintaining patient comfort and safety.
  • Provide patient care with a focus on pain management and improving functional outcomes.
  • Participate in an innovative medical clinic, utilizing modern technology and advanced practices to enhance patient care.
  • Assist with special projects and clinical activities as required.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and ensure compliance with privacy regulations (PHIPA).
  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with patients, physicians, nurses, and other clinical staff.
