Description

Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic X-ray examinations referred by physicians.
  • Consult with referring physicians/radiologists when clarification is required.
  • Produce high-quality images while ensuring radiation safety (ALARA principle).
  • Evaluate, accept, or reject images as appropriate.
  • Communicate urgent findings to the physician promptly.
  • Document patient history, including menstrual history when applicable.
  • Ensure patient confidentiality and maintain professionalism at all times.
  • Assist with clerical duties as needed.
  • Participate in quality assurance testing and follow safety regulations (HARP, WHMIS, infection control).
  • Keep certifications current and engage in continuing education.

Qualifications

  • Advanced Diploma in Medical Radiation Technology.
  • Current registration with the College of Medical Radiation Technologists of Ontario (CMRTO).
  • CAMRT certification.
  • OAMRS membership an asset.
  • Strong ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize workload and perform under time constraints.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $40.00-$45.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
