REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum of a three (3) year diploma in medical radiation and imaging technology programs
  • Current registration with The College of Medical Radiation Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO) with MRT (R)
  • Member in good standing with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT)
  • Medical Radiation Technologists with a Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) assignments must have current registration with the College of Medical Radiation Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO) with MRT (MR)
  • For Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) assignments, incumbents must have minimum of three (3) months of experience with computed and digital radiography, and magnetic resonance imaging in the hospital environment
  • Demonstrated experience with PACS applications
  • Demonstrated computer software application skills (Radiology Information Systems) and knowledge of automated and semi-automated instrumentation and equipment
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and with respect in an oral and written format with patients, public, colleagues and other health disciplines
  • Demonstrated and proven excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
  • Demonstrated and proven strong public relation skills
  • Embodies the LEAN ideology by actively and continually seeking opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Must have demonstrated ability to meet the attendance standards of the Hospital
  • Bilingualism preferred (French/English)
