Job Title: Medical Radiation Technologist (MRT – X-ray & CT) – Vancouver Coastal Health
Pay Rate: $49.21–$59.57/hour
Location: Vancouver Coastal Health facilities (travel and local assignments available)

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Certified MRT with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT) or recognized provincial equivalent
• X-ray and/or CT certification required
• Minimum 1 year of clinical imaging experience preferred
• Additional expertise in sonography, mammography, or other modalities is an asset
• Ability to work independently in fast-paced hospital environments
• Excellent interpersonal and technical skills

ABOUT THE ROLE:

911 Nurses GTA is urgently hiring Medical Radiation Technologists (MRTs) to support Vancouver Coastal Health across several medical imaging departments. The immediate priority is for X-ray and CT technologists, though we are also reviewing applications from those with additional expertise in sonography, mammography, and other imaging modalities.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform X-ray and CT scans with a focus on accuracy, efficiency, and patient safety
• Position patients and ensure proper technique to optimize image quality
• Operate and troubleshoot advanced imaging equipment
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and clinical teams to support patient diagnosis
• Maintain compliance with infection control and quality standards
• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care in diverse clinical settings
