REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications:

• Current registration with CMRITO
• Will hold liability insurance as defined by CMRITO
• Current IV Certification preferred

Skill, Ability and Experience:

• Recent related experience in various X-Ray and CT examinations including CT angiography and interventional procedures, or commitment to achieve required
• Demonstrated proficiency in IVs and/or completion of a recognized IV certification course, or commitment to achieve preferred
• Ability to work independently, apply critical thinking, problem solving, decision making, conflict resolution and prioritization skills required
• Basic proficiency in the use of computers required
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the position required
• Experience with electronic Health Information Systems preferred

Principal Duties:

• Performs all radiological and CT procedures as per assignment, and rotates through assigned work areas of the department as required
• Safely operates equipment to produce optimum images in accordance with CMRITO Standards of Practice at all Bluewater Health sites
• Ensures quality images are obtained and transmitted to PACS for distribution as required
• Participates in unit/department and Hospital Quality Improvement initiatives
• Completes continuing education requirements as necessary
• Other related duties as assigned
