Medical Reception Care Navigator
An opportunity for a hardworking individual to join our busy, supportive friendly team. This is is a front-line, patient facing role requiring flexibility, resilience, calm and compassionate approach.
Reception is the primary point of contact for the surgery, providing care, guidance and support for patients .
Key Responsibilities:
Manage patient queries via online triage, in person and on the telephone with empathy, and professionalism. Coordinating appointments, treatments, advice and onward referrals.
Maintain accurate and confidential patient records using our clinical system.
Supporting the clinical team in delivering seamless patient care ensuring their needs are met calmly and efficiently.
We are looking for someone:
Calm under pressure, empathetic and able to build rapport with patients
Stronger communicator, works well independently and within a team
Highly organised with attention to detail and able to multitask
Flexible able to adapt to changes and patient needs
Proactive offering solutions and anticipating problems
Requirements:
A commitment to confidentiality
Excellent communication skills
Strong IT skills
Previous experience of working in a GP Surgery or the NHS would be an advantage.
The successful candidate will be required to partake and complete ongoing mandatary training, e-learning and complete a satisfactory DBS check.
