Job Summary:
The Medical Receptionist will be the first point of contact for patients and visitors, ensuring a welcoming, professional, and efficient front-desk experience. The role involves managing appointments, patient records, and administrative tasks while maintaining a high standard of customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet patients and visitors warmly and professionally upon arrival.
Manage appointment scheduling, rescheduling, and cancellations.
Answer phone calls, WhatsApp, and email inquiries promptly and professionally.
Register new patients and update existing patient records in the clinic system.
Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and other departments for smooth patient flow.
Process payments and issue receipts as per clinic policy.
Maintain confidentiality of patient information in accordance with clinic policies and UAE healthcare regulations.
Keep the reception area tidy and presentable.
Assist in administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, and documentation.
Requirements:
Previous experience as a receptionist, preferably in a medical or healthcare setting.
Strong communication skills in English; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
Proficiency in MS Office and medical software systems.
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
Professional appearance and demeanor.
