PRIMARY DETAIL 2 x Medical Receptionist and Administrative Assistant positions in our Kids Clinic and Physiotherapy Clinic Salary Package: Grade 3, level 2 – base salary $66,571 p.a. The Role Macquarie University Health Clinics (MUH Clinics) is seeking experienced and motivated individuals to join our dynamic and fast-paced environments as a Medical Receptionist and Administrative Assistant, with job openings available in our MUH Kids Clinic and Physiotherapy Clinic. These positions are ideally suited to professionals with at least 1–2 years’ experience in a similar medical administration role who can confidently “hit the ground running.” You will play a key role in supporting specialist clinicians and ensuring a seamless patient journey from first contact through to billing and follow-up. You will work closely with a collaborative team to deliver a high-quality patient experience, enabling the clinics to operate efficiently and professionally. The roles require a strong commitment to excellent customer service, patient-centred care, discretion, and attention to detail. These roles operate Monday to Friday only, offering a stable schedule with no weekend work. Key accountabilities include (not limited to): Provide high-quality administrative support and liaise with patients in person and over the phone Manage patient appointments and coordinate clinician schedules Ensure patients are billed accurately and in a timely manner Process Medicare, health fund and EFTPOS transactions Update and maintain confidentiality of patient records Communicate, liaise and coordinate duties with other administrative and reception staff across MQ Health and affiliated clinics Reconcile end-of-day cash/EFTPOS and undertake associated banking tasks About You You will be an enthusiastic and professional individual who thrives in a busy clinical environment and takes pride in delivering exceptional customer service.
