Description

Our clinics in Canberra are currently seeking a Medical Receptionist to join the team. We are happy to accommodate a start date best suited to the successful candidate.
The role is a full time position working Monday to Friday, between 7am-10pm across our four clinics in Canberra: Belconnen, Deakin, Woden, and Tuggeranong.
Role Overview:
As a Medical Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our patients.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Greeting patients warmly and assisting with check-in procedures.
  • Answering emails and phone calls promptly and handling inquiries professionally.
  • Advising patients of preparation prior to relevant scans.
  • Billing procedures - private, Medicare, workers compensation, and DVA.
  • Collaborating with clerical and technical staff, radiologists, and referrers.

You will also have the opportunity to be trained as a contact centre agent to assist as required:

  • Answering phone calls promptly and handling inquiries professionally.
  • Booking appointments across our four Canberra clinics.

What we’re looking for:
Clear verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organisational abilities to manage appointments and patient flow.
Confidence working across multiple screens and systems.
A strong background in customer service.
Ability to rotate across the four clinics in Canberra as required
