JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a dedicated and organized Medical Receptionist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing front desk operations, providing exceptional patient service, and ensuring the smooth functioning of our medical office. This role requires a solid understanding of medical terminology, scheduling, and administrative support within a clinical environment.

EXPERIENCE

  • Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist or in a similar medical administrative role is preferred.
  • Proficiency in using EHR systems; experience with Epic, Meditech, Athenahealth, or eClinicalWorks is highly desirable.
  • Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply to enhance patient communication.
  • Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills are required for effective patient interaction.
  • Experience in a dental office or clinic setting is a plus but not mandatory. Responsibilities

  • Maintain patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations, utilizing EMR systems such as Epic, Meditech, Athenahealth, eClinicalWorks, or similar platforms.
  • Provide clerical support including filing, typing, and managing multi-line phone systems.
  • Assist with the intake process for new patients and update care plans as necessary.
  • Communicate effectively with patients regarding their appointments, medical records, and any inquiries they may have.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure seamless patient care and office management.
