About the role

As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a key role in delivering a warm, professional and efficient patient experience.

Key responsibilities

  • Greeting patients and managing front desk operations
  • Scheduling and managing specialist appointments in Genie
  • Processing billing, including Medicare, DVA and private health claims (ECLIPSE)
  • Handling incoming calls, referrals and correspondence
  • Managing patient records and maintaining strict confidentiality
  • Supporting our specialists and clinical team with day-to-day administration

About you

  • Demonstrated experience using Genie practice management software (essential)
  • Previous experience in a medical reception role, ideally in a specialist practice
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a warm, patient-focused manner
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a busy environment
  • Sound knowledge of Medicare billing; ECLIPSE experience highly regarded
  • Professional presentation, reliability and a positive team attitude
  • Available for an immediate start

Our multidisciplinary team provides neurology, pain medicine, neurosurgery, rehabilitation, neurophysiology and infusion services to patients across the Canberra region.
